The Waterford Arms, in Seaton Sluice,  is a hidden gem of the Northumberland coastline, providing a second to none dining and drinking experience, combined with lovely en-suite rooms, all well-appointed and with our premium rooms offering gorgeous sea views.

Built in 1899, The Waterford Arms combines the charm of a late Victorian era building with the comfort and relaxed style of today. Its beach front location, quality food and friendly service all combine to make any visit to the Waterford Arms one to remember.

Home of the famous ‘Waterford Whale’, a 32oz  cod in a light crispy batter, we have been renowned for over 25 years for our quality local home cooked food. We cover for all dietary needs and as such we offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free friendly options.

A breakfast menu is available with all of our rooms to set you up perfectly for a day exploring the beautiful Northumbrian coastline. The Northumberland coastal route makes The Waterford Arms a perfect base for keen walkers and cyclists with lock-up facilities available for bicycles.
